Meet Ms. Paris from lovely PHOENIX, ARIZONA:   ***ADOPTED***ADOPTED***ADOPTED***

Paris is a pure bred, spayed, one- year- old female Anatolian Shepherd Dog.

Estimated DOB: 5/15/12.

 

Ms. Paris was turned into the shelter due to "landlord issues" and narrowly escaped being euthanized since she was an owner surrender.  Shelters are not obligated to hold owner surrenders so they are usually the first to be put down when they need to make space.

Paris is good with other dogs and seems to ignore cats.  She also loves to romp and play with the male dogs in her foster home and should get along alright with a non-alpha female.

Paris is a young girl and has lots of energy so she would love to have another large sized dog to play with.
She has seen the cat in her foster home and has had no reaction but she has not been in direct contact.

Ms. Paris is housebroken, crate trained, walks well on lead.  She has excellent house manners and would does not jump fences or dig out.

 

She is spayed and current on shots.  One of her hips is a bit off but we have had the xray evaluated by a vet and she said no surgery is necessary.  She will always need to stay on the slim side, however, and whoever adopts her will need to keep her on supplements.

 

She flies like the wind, though, and does not seem to be in any pain whatsoever.  This girl is a big puppy who's motto seems to be "Girls Just Want to Have Fun!"

 

Ms. Paris is not trained as a working livestock guardian dog.
