Meet Toby. He is a neutered male Anatolian Shepherd Dog. Estimated DOB November 1, 2010. He is not a trained livestock guardian dog therefore he is available for adoption as a companion dog. Toby is settling in nicely in his foster home.  He loves running the fence line, has found his voice, and initiates play with the two female Pyrs he’s currently living with.

He’s is very respectful of the two older male Pyrs, and gives them their berth when needed. Toby is quickly learning the household routines, where to sleep, eat, not to surf the counter, not to sleep on the bed.    He needs some leash work and basic obedience, but so far he learns quickly.  Once he settles in more, he’ll feel more confident in his abilities and less likely to exhibit his teenage angst.
