Maro was rescued from a shelter in Northern California. She arrived there after animal control removed her and multiple other dogs from her owner’s house because of a hoarding situation. Her previous owner told the shelter that she is an Anatolian and Great Pyrenees cross. We are not sure that both breeds are predominantly present, but we do know that she is a fabulous dog. She weighs about 60lbs now, has a beautifully soft and dense coat, is very energetic, smart, curious, and loves everyone after a brief introductory period. She is great with all dogs, male and female, and likes kids and cats. She's spayed, healthy, housebroken, and improving her manners at her foster home.

 Maro needs lots of exercise and a fence that is at least 5' tall. She also needs to go to a home with another medium to large sized dog to play with.
