Meet Valeri!  She is a beautiful spayed female Anatolian Shepherd Great Pyrenees blend.  We estimate her DOB to be June 2023.   As of Dec 11, 2023 Valeri weighed 60 lbs.  She isnt done growing yet, though, and should top out in the 80-90 pound range.

Valeri was wandering the streets in an industrial area so, in order to get her to safety and not be impounded at the shelter, we picked her up, had her vetted and she is now in boarding, waiting for a foster or adoptive home.

Val is a sweet girl who very much wants to bond with people and have a safe, stable home.  She is friendly but a little shy.  She is coming out of her shell a little more each day though!   She's a quick learner and is getting better on the leash and learning how to sit.

Valeri is good with male dogs but we havent tested her with female dogs, cats or children at this point.   She has not been tested with livestock and is looking for a companion home.

Secure fencing with minimum height of 4 feet is required on all adoptions.

Most Anatolians are not well suited to apartment living.
