Kanga is a handsome and well-behaved boy, by all accounts (including vets). He is a nice even temperament and energy, which makes him very compatible with all people and animals. He makes friends wherever he goes.

Kanga was loved by his previous family but life circumstances changed and they could no longer keep up with the costs of dog care. He is a big boy, which means feeding, vetting, preventatives, etc. all cost a bit more too. They did the unselfish thing in asking us to find him the best loving home we could. He is the the best boy and deserves the best home!

Ideally, Kanga's home would offer a fenced yard and even another dog who would romp around with him. He fits in well to the pack of dogs at our training place and enjoys his time with them. If you'd like to meet Kango, please apply today!

To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review. Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit.

We are 100% donation-funded and our fees are equivalent to (or less than) the cost to fully vet a new dog yourself.

Please expect an adoption fee of $350; some of our urgent or long-term dogs have discounted fees.
