Meet Kirby! He is a super handsome young adult, neutered male Anatolian Shepherd dog or mix.
We estimate his DOB to be appx August 2021. He is a forgiving soul, though and he adores people and loves to be loved on. Kirby is housebroken, walks on leash and knows basic commands. He is good with other dogs and is good with cats. He loves to play and would do well with another dog close to his size and age who he can romp and wrestle with. Kirby will make an amazing, loyal and incredibly loving companion and best friend! He tested low positive for heartworm and is being treated with slow kill method. He's asymptomatic, in good health and should have no complications now or in the future. Kirby has not been tested with children, cats or livestock. NO LIVESTOCK EXPERIENCE Transport assistance within 1000 miles may be available depending on where you live and the availability of volunteer drivers along the route Secure fencing with minimum height of 4 feet is required on all adoptions. Most Anatolians are not well suited to apartment living.
