Meet Hildy!  She is a beautiful young, spayed female Anatolian Shepherd Dog or mix who was likely dumped on a rural road.  No one came looking for her so her finder contacted us to see if we could help.  Hildy is currently in the boarding kennel since we have no open fosters.  She is fully vetted and is HW negative.

Sweet Hildy is looking for a foster, foster to adopt or adoptive home.

She is smart, playful, affectionate and friendly. She has been good with the other dogs she has met.  She is house trained, knows most of her basic commands and will walk on a leash

We are not able to test her with cats, livestock or children at this time.

Transport assistance within 1000 miles may be available depending on where you live and the availability of volunteer drivers along the route​ ​

Secure fencing with minimum height of 4 feet is required on all adoptions.

Most Anatolians are not well suited to apartment living.
