Rainer is a neutered male Anatolian Shepherd possibly mixed with Pyrenees but the owner said he was a purebred. Estimated DOB July 2019.

His owner purchased him as a livestock guardian dog but he was not happy with his job performance and fired him. The owner claims that he paid a lot of money for him to guard his goats but he nipped at the goats so he surrendered him to a kill shelter. The shelter asked our rescue partner Paula in TN to take him. 
He was being fostered by Paula and she said he was a little shy, but nothing a bag of hot dogs didn‘t fix. 
Rainer was also fostered by Ann who loves big dogs and she said he loved playing with toys and was very loving with her staff but not fond of strangers. 

Rainer is a big boy and already weighs 71 lbs. He will need a home with some room to run. He is not a condo/apartment dog.
