Meet Keeva. She is right around a year old, estimated DOB January/2019.
As you can see, she is terribly skinny right now.
Her owner turned her into the shelter, trying to avoid cruelty/neglect charges, however, that didn't quite turn out as he planned. Let's hope justice prevails because this poor girl has went a mighty long time without regular meals.
On the bright side, she doesn't seem to be overly traumatized. She is good with other dogs and is friendly with people. She's 95% housebroken and is crate trained.
She is too skinny for surgery right now so she has not been spayed yet. She is being fed several small meals a day and is putting weight on slowly.
Since she is not spayed yet, she is available for foster-to-adopt.
