Jasper is a sweet and loving 3 year old, neutered male Anatolian mix.  He is a bit on the smaller side, weighing only about 65 lbs.  He is up to date on all vaccinations, heartworm negative and on flea/tick and HW prevention. 

Jasper has many puppy-like qualities. He smiles and wags his tail and is so happy.  He is very smart. He loves to give kisses!  You can hug him and cuddle with him and he is just as patient and happy as can be to have it.  King of the toy box,  Jasper has a Wubba, which is a Kong toy.  This was his first toy and it is very special to him that seems to be a great source of comfort for him..  “Wubby baby” will go with him to his forever home.  Jasper also enjoys food puzzles and running “ground traffic control” for his part of the neighborhood.  He is quite a character and loves to laugh and tease.

Jasper has been working on training.  He knows “Sit” and is working on “Shake“ and “Leave-It.”  Like most Anatolians, “Come” is a work in progress.  While not a huge fan, Jasper will crate with a bit of encouragement and reward.  He is house trained, but needs to spend ample time outdoors playing or going for a walk before being left at home unattended for long periods of time.

Jasper is not a fan of cats, and he would probably be happiest in either an only dog home or a home with a female canine companion.  He has not been evaluated with children but has been fine with neighborhood children seen briefly on neighborhood walks.
