Remember Earl, the beautiful, registered Anatolian that ended up in an AL shelter last year? He was adopted but his new family in AL suffered severe tornado damage and all their farm fencing was destroyed. As a result, Earl got out and killed some chickens and the neighbors threatened to shoot him. He is about 18 months old, neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, heartworm negative, very social, good with other dogs, good with kids - but he is NOT good with cats or livestock and has NOT been trained as a livestock dog. Earl does have a scar on a rear leg due to an old injury and he will slightly favor that leg from time to time but it does not seem to hinder him when he runs.
