WISCONSIN, WAUKESHA; "JANNA" If you’re looking for your shadow, she’s standing right behind you. Her name is Janna and she wants to be a part of everything you do. Whether it’s yard work, cooking dinner or going for a walk, Janna wants to be a part of it.
Janna came to Wisconsin from Texas where she was placed in a caring temporary foster home. Before that, she had been left behind on a ranch with 8 other dogs.
Since arriving in Wisconsin, she has learned many new things living on a hobby farm with 2 dog-sisters. Riding in cars is exciting and still scary at the same time. Janna loves meeting new people anywhere she goes. In novel situations, she can be a little timid but warms up quickly becoming braver with each repetition.
Janna loves her crate, and she has completed her first obedience class. She is looking for a patient companion home that will continue her positive reinforcement training. She is food motivated and does not really play with toys but loves to be outside.
She has done well with older children (8+) but has not lived with young children. A dog buddy would be great to ensue confidence in new situations. She needs a moderate amount of exercise each day. She has not been tested with cats. She has shown no interest in jumping fences as she likes to be close to her home. She has done well at the groomers, and they were able to trim her nails without trouble. Women are her first choice to warm up to.
If you’re looking for a sweetheart of a dog to share your day with, Janna is the one.
