CALIFORNIA, BAY AREA Meet Luke! He is a young male Anatolian Shepherd Dog x German Shepherd Dog, est DOB 4/6/16. Luke is such a cutie pie. It's hard not to smile when you see his cockeyed ears and his "who, me?" look. He is still very much a puppy and loves to run, wrestle and play with toys. His behavior is more like a German Shepherd than that of an Anatolian, however, he is a very smart boy and a quick learner. He is learning about new things every day but is still sure that ceiling fans are pure evil. He has not been destructive indoors and has good house manners, however, he is tall enough to counter surf, so beware! He is housebroken and is working on basic commands. Luke has been good with the female dogs that are in his foster home. We have not evaluated him with male dogs, cats or children. Given his size and energy level, he will be best suited to a home without small kids. He would do well with a female dog that is close to his size and age. He loves to romp and wrestle so will need a dog at least his size who can keep up with him. Transport options may be available depending on where you live.
