  Meet Dane! He is a super handsome and super sweet 18 month old neutered, heartworm negative, male Anatolian Shepherd Dog.  This beautiful boy was saved from death row and is now in foster care. 

Dane is very friendly and still very puppy-like. He is good with other dogs, including small dogs - his best friend at his foster home is a Yorkie. Dane is an all around easy going guy. He loves water but hates being crated. Most of all Dane loves, loves, loves his people and is very people oriented.  He can be a bit timid at first, as he is still working on building confidence, but warms up very quickly.

Dane is housebroken, seems to know basic commands, plays well with others and full of entertainment! As he has no livestock experience, he is looking to be someone's couch buddy in a companion home.

TRANSPORT OPTIONS : Dane is eligible for transport to points along the east coast with a rescue transporter ($185). Also, depending on where you live, we can often help with transport within approximately 1,000 miles via volunteer drivers. There is no charge for this transport but the foster/adopter usually drives the last leg/increment of the trip.
