Meet Jake. He is an 18 month old neutered male Anatolian Shepherd cross. He weighs appx 105 lbs, is fully vetted, heartworm negative and in good health.
Jake's owners rescued him from a high kill shelter but do not have a yard for him. They feel Jake would be much happier in a home with a securely fenced yard to run and stretch his long legs in.
Jake gets along well with other dogs, including small dogs, and is also good with cats.
He has not been evaluated with children under 5 yrs old but is good with older kids.
Jake is housebroken, walks on leash and knows basic commands. He would do well in a family home with children or in a home where he has another medium to large sized dog to romp and wrestle with. He adores his people and will make a wonderful companion and loyal friend. Transport options may be available within a radius of appx 1,000 miles.
